19” All-Original Early Kestner

19” All-Original Early Kestner, possibly AT-type, German, circa 1880, marked only with size number 12 high on rim in back of head, early model with heavy lower cheeks and two square cut teeth, dimple in chin, brown rocker eyes have been set in stationary position, feathered brows, speck on forehead, small ink mark on one cheek, no plaster pate, original blond mohair wig, early composition Kestner body with loose ball joints at shoulders and straight wrists, minor chipping on one finger, no markings on body, original frail clothes and original brown leather button-up boots, very unusual facial model which might be a rare open mouth Kestner AT type doll $2,450.

8 ¾” All-Original Simon & Hailbig #1078, circa 1892, blue sleep eyes, single stroke brows, painted upper & lower lashes, open mouth, teeth, original five-piece composition body (small repair at one stringing hole), ½” long hairline crack back of head (near rim), original factory clothes, adorable original extra-long brown mohair wig in original braids, this doll was actually sold by Debra’s Dolls back in 2000 for $425 and comes with the original receipt from this sale, now being offered for $365.

19" German Belton, circa 1880, marked "S/7", gorgeous pouty face, closed mouth, brown bulgy paperweight eyes, dimple in chin, sharply molded
fatures, pierced ears, tiny flakes left piercing hole, pinpoint cheek & lip rubs, some specks upper forehead, antique brown human hair wig, original
straight wrist composition body, touch up repainting including arms, antique clothes and boots, from the collection of Dorothea H. Williams of Pennington, NJ. Was $2,650 now on sale 1,950.

24 1/2" Carl Hartmann, German, circa 1885-1905, marked "30", brown sleep eyes, painted upper & lower lashes, feathered brows, open mouth with teeth, original ball-jointed composition body with origina body finish, original brown mohair wig, pinpoint wig pulls at crown, cheek rub (left lower cheek), completely original clothes and shoes, from original estate $1,075.

13” Kestner #154 with Provenance, German, circa 1897, originally owned by Willa Sailor, born September 1892, from the Chambersburg, PA area, and acquired from her granddaughter, brown paperweight eyes, feathered brows, open mouth with square cut teeth, dimple in chin, original kid leather body with stone bisque lower arms, cloth lower legs appear to have been replaced, doll has been redressed, wig is a replacement of brown human hair, doll has few tiny specks on left cheek, very pretty $195.

13 1/2 Mystery Doll, German, circa 1880's, possibly by Simon & Hailbig, Belton-Type solid dome head, brown paperweight eyes, super original long blond mohair wig, closed mouth, cheek rub, antique (original?) rivet jointed kid leather body with beautiful bisque lower arms, perfect head, antique underclothes (appear to be original to the body), antique shoes & socks (also appear to be original to the body), dress made from antique fabrics & laces, from the private collection of Doris Hill $2,350

17" Alt, Beck & Gottschalck #639, made in Germany, circa 1880, turned solid-dome shoudler head, blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth, dimple in chin, nice oily sheen to bisque, very faint cheek rub (left cheek), feathered brows, original kid leather body (somewhat discolored, few tiny holes near waist) with bisque lower arms, finger tips are chipped on the doll's right hand, antique (original?) pale blue dress with undergarments, dress is melting in spots, no shoes or socks, beautiful doll $795

Kestner Turned Shoulder Head Lady Doll, German, circa 1880, beautiful coloring, closed mouth, brown sleep eyes, thick feathered brows, pinpoint flake right eye rim, plaster pate missing, appropriate old brown human hair wig, lovely old (original?) cloth body (shoulder plate seems slightly big in front where it joins the body), antique (original?) bisque lower arms and hands, upper arm fabric has been replaced, super antique hat, newer leather boots, super lady dress which is either antique or well made from antique materials, from the collection of Dorothea H. Williams of Pennington, NJ $1,375.
